We have a range of Indian grey sandstone paving slabs and setts with different surface and edge finishes. These include riven with hand-cut edges, riven with sawn edges, and tumbled flagstone antique style paving. We also offer setts in matching Kandla light grey for borders, edging and other decorative motifs in your patio and garden paths.
We supply a range of Kandla Light Grey Indian Sandstone paving slabs, paving circles & squaring-off kits, plus setts for edging and borders.
Riven slabs are hewn and split to create a natural surface finish to the slab. This creates an natural appearance, with small ridges and undulations on the surface of the paving slabs where the mason has cleaved the sandstone.
Our Tudor Antique Flagstone range uses tumbling as a process to soften the edges of the sandstone slabs and give them a time-worn and aged appearance to match the aesthetic of historic/traditional/period and rustic homes & cottages. Tumbled paving has a smooth feel, and a softer riven surface and more rounded edge profile.
Sawn paving allows the slabs to be laid more closely together, for a more contemporary look and feel. These slabs have the same riven surface, given them plenty of character and natural appeal.
We have light grey sandstones setts available in single size formats and mixed size packs. These setts (AKA cobbles) are ideal for introducing design motifs, edging and borders.
