Where to Use Your Block Paving

Driveway Block Pavers

Block paving is used on driveways to provide a suitable driving surface and hard-standing area for vehicles. Stone setts and concrete block pavers are thicker than standard slabs and have smaller surface areas. These characteristics mean they have better load/compression performance and are ideally suited to handle cars and vehicles.

We offer three main types of concrete block paving:

1) Rumbled Blocks - these are given softer rounded edges that gives these paving blocks the look and feel of older, more established stones that have been weather over time. Pavesett are our most popular rumbled block paving.

2) Standard Blocks - these have straight "split" edges an offer a more modern and contemporary look and feel. These are usually the most cost-efficient paving blocks for driveways.

3) Permeable Blocks - These are recommended to avoid planning applications where no suitable surface water run-off is available or a part of a housing developers considerations to Sustainable Urban Drainage (SUDS). We offer a range of colours and formats of permeable block paving.

Lay a New Garden Paths Using Our Durable Paving Blocks

With their undulating and serpentine nature, garden paths are not always flat and straight and often need smaller profile paving to negotiate the landscape. Block paving & setts fit this need perfectly, being easier to "steer" and offering durable and flexible solutions for any garden path or walkway.

Features & Patterns

Block paving is great for creating border patterns and motifs between various areas of your patio or terrace. They are often incorporated into paving features and circles too. Consider selecting a contrasting colour to your other paving to create eye-catching border patterns.

Contemporary & Traditional Styles

We offer a mix of traditional and contemporary paving block styles. Traditional block paving & setts will usually have more rounded edges to give them an antique, weather-worn look and feel, and use natural sandstone, limestone or granite. Contemporary concrete paving blocks provide a cost-effective alternative to natural stone offering high-performance, durability and uniformity.
